Mulberry Lane repairs will temporarily close portion of route beginning Friday (November 15)

BRISTOL – Due to needed permanent repairs following Hurricane Helene, a portion of Route 686 (Mulberry Lane) in Smyth County will be closed beginning Friday (November 15). The project includes the replacement of two large drainage pipes.

Motorists should use Gordondale Road, Nicks Creek Road and Glade Mountain Road to detour during the closure.

It will take approximately one week to complete the repairs.
